Brooke and Ryan

Wow! What a long weekend! It was full of wedding interviews, engagement photos, a wedding, and a sick baby!
Brooke and Ryan were wed yesterday at a beautiful ceremony celebrating their love for each other. The rain tried to stop us from taking photos, but we found shelter under a tree and took some of the fastest photos we have ever had to take in our life. We had some laughs with umbrellas, guys having to squish close for photos, and the nervous mom who made us all laugh.
The night was full of dancing, yummy treats for all to share, and guests who had a great time.
Thank you to Brooke and Ryan for letting us be a part of your special day. We hope you and your family had fun on the cruise, and don't forget we will be along next year to photograph the 3rd annual family cruise!

Pam and Bill.. Happily Ever After

Congrats to the happily married couple! Pam and Bill were married over the weekend, yay! It was an absolutely beautiful ceremony with their friends and family there to celebrate with them. Hurricane Fay even stopped by for the afternoon to say hello... Despite the weather we had a great time, and got some awesome shots. Thanks to Pam and Bill for such letting us be a part of your special day!

Great Reviews!

Wow... do you ever have that day where it's just kind blah... you had a rough time with the printer this morning, you dropped your new phone and broke it, and then you locked yourself out of the office? Ya.. that has been my morning.

BUT, there is always a rainbow at the end of a storm...

I was EXTREMELY blessed to be able to photograph a wedding on August 2nd 2008 for Kasi and Jimmy. She was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL bride, and he was a handsome groom. It was such a beautiful, simple, elegant ceremony. She was so organized, and had planned every detail right down to the candy bar/table for the children at her reception.

I was finally able to finish going through all the photos we shot at her wedding ( there was a ton!! ) and put a private website up for her. I emailed her the site, and instantly I got emails from her.. OMG, I am not half way through and I love them, thank you so much.. etc...
It makes me feel so good when I am able to capture such a beautiful day in a way that will make the bride and groom cry with tears of joy.

It's emails, comments, and words from brides like that, which make me love my job even more. I get to be a part of someones big day, I get to be "behind the scenes" and see the bridal party all pull together to put the bride in her beautiful gown, I get to see the groom play it cool when you know deep inside he is nervous, the bride squishing into the back of an SUV so we can go get the "perfect shot". I get to see the last peck on daddy's cheek before he walks his daughter down the aisle... How awesome is my job???

Anyways, I wanted to pass along a comment that Kasi posted under yahoo reviews.. it really really made my day, and will probably fill me with smiles for the rest of the week.

I absolutely LOVE Amanda, and Lindley's Photography!!!! I got married 08/02/08 and I could not have asked for a better photographer! She does incredible work, and has the best personality. So friendly and willing to work with you, her creativity is amazing! My husband and I were extremely pleased on our wedding day and felt completely at ease with Amanda and Trish. They really impressed our bridal party as well...everyone loved them! We are more than satisfied with results from our special day! I highly recommend Lindley's Photography :) Thank you so much for making our Wedding Day so wonderful!

Kristen and Nick

It was a beautiful day for engagement photos! The air was cool, there was a slight breeze, and the sun had a beautiful golden glow to it.

I was able to spend the morning with Bride and Groom to be Kristen and Nick. We had a wonderful time walking around the lake, and talking about their interests. It's always nice to have that one on one time with the couples before their big day, it helps me learn more about the couple.
I just wanted to thank Kristen and Nick for their time today, I had a blast!

Welcome to our blog! As we have hit a busy streak I realized there is always still time to do more things to get our name out there, and keep it out there.
Lindley's Photography has been HUGE this year, and we have stayed booked solid for weddings. We want to thank everyone for their support, and for using us as photographers for your special day.
My husband and I strive to keep Lindley's Photography the best that it can be. We are always trying to brain-storm new ideas, come up with new props to bring with us, and work our hardest to make YOU the Bride and Groom extremely pleased with the photos we take of your wedding day.
We are grateful for any comments, suggestions, etc that you might have.
